- Synopsis:
Pickles, the prickle-less hedgehog, is smooth, round, perfectly squidgy... and different from all his hedgehog friends, so he's embarking on an adventure to find his prickles!
Prickles are very important for hedgehogs. But just how does a prickle-less hedgehog find his spines? Well, Pickles has lots of ideas! Colouring pencils, carrots and lollipops, to name a few! But none of them are quite right...
Join Pickles on his adventure to find his own unique style, and experience the friendships and mishaps that he encounters along the way in this charming children's picture book.
Themes of discovery, cooperation and self-acceptance are explored through bright, beautiful illustrations and endearing characters, brought to you by writer and illustrator Lydia Ripper. Pickles' vibrant personality is bound to capture the hearts of animal lovers everywhere and might just inspire them to embrace what makes them different.
